Founded by our father, Ricardo Rodriguez Santiago, over a decade ago, Mapari is rooted in a family tradition that began with our great-grandfather in the 1920s. His company, "Ventura Rodriguez & Sons, Inc* became a cornerstone of Puerto Rico's import and distribution sector up until his death in 1982.

Our father grew up in the business, launching his first imports company at just 19 years old. Decades later, he founded Mapari with a vision: to use his extensive experience and deep connections to help food and beverage manufacturers succeed in Puerto Rico's market. By connecting manufacturers to distributors and wholesale buyers, Mapari has become a trusted partner in building strong, sustainable brands.
